WHO WE ARE

Founded by Jo Steingold, previously a Sotheby’s Director of contemporary art, STEINGOLD CONTEMPORARY sets out to build lasting relationships with artists, collectors, interior designers, gallerists and curators; to connect, to inspire and to share ideas. Jo’s goal is to champion emerging creatives and to make the process of discovering and collecting contemporary art an enjoyable and inclusive one.

Jo brings to STEINGOLD CONTEMPORARY over 15 years of art market knowledge and insight from Sotheby’s, one of the leading global auction houses. She aims to use this experience to enable an authentic dialogue between creative and collector backed by in-depth expertise.

Jo holds a BA(Hons) degree in History of Art and Spanish from the University of Leeds.
